To pay or not to pay for Affiliate Marketing articles

Many of the so called Affiliate Marketing Experts offer Tips on using Auto Article generating products to help you build your affiliate marketing business but the truth of the matter is everyone needs to feel their own way around and develop their own particular style to build their business. I believe individuality is what sets the successful Affiliate marketer apart from the copy-cat wanna be's.
Some good rules to go by include( but are not limited to):

1. Write  articles that are heart felt and that provide genuine benefit to the reader not just a selling point.
2. Target people and not search engines with your affiliate marketing articles.
3. There is no substitute for ingenuity so do not be afraid to experiment.
4. If at first you do not succeed, pick yourself up, dust yourself off and get back at it, Rome was not built in a day and neither will your Affiliate Marketing millions.
5.  Research any words you target and get multiple sources.
6. Proof read your Affiliate Marketing Articles and ensure that they are of high quality because that is what will set you apart from the crowd.

The importance of Article Marketing

The importance of Marketing in today's competitive business environment needs little explanation as more and more businesses vie for our buying power. The Internet is no exception as an increasing number of people realize the importance of marketing themselves, their product and their business.  

First of all it is important to differentiate between marketing and advertising. Marketing is considerably more involved than merely advertising. The definition of Marketing is the systematic planning, implementation and control of a mix of business activities intended to bring together buyers and sellers for the mutually advantageous exchange or transfer of products. While advertising is defined as the paid,public,announcement of a  message for the promotion of products to its existing and potential customers. Marketing takes more planning and more work but as you work at whatever your marketing concept is and hone your skill you will get faster and better. Remember learning is about trial and error so does not feel afraid to make a mistake because you cannot learn unless you try.

The Internet is replete with 'offers' and 'opportunities’ to begin an Article Marketing business and many people purport to offer training as well as articles to 'help' new marketers to get going. All you need to do is sign up for their 'free course' and receive articles in your inbox. Here is the scoop all this is a ploy to get your email address and add you to their mailing list so that eventually they can convert you into a customer. The truth of the matter is that you would be better off creating your own content and marketing plan. The key in any Endeavour is to embark on something you believe in and are passionate about because you will need to persevere and to be able to see it through.

Article Marketing is the use of written content to promote your product offerings, or those of others (we will address this in another post) and create a source of income. If done right this can be a rewarding and fulfilling undertaking and this blog will address tactics and tips to achieve your goals. If there is one thing that you take from this blog it is that you need to be original and separate yourself from the other people out there. Use your platform as an extension of yourself and you will find that your Article Marketing initiatives will yield positive results. Do not get discouraged if it does not go as quickly as some of the people try to make it sound like, this is a business and like any business will take time to get going( although it is possible to hit a rich vein and get exceptional results).

OPM (other peoples merchandise) is a play on the term OPP (other peoples property) and when used in conjunction with the term Marketing it denotes the online trend of using other peoples products to create some income on-line. There has been a lot written about article marketing,associate marketing and   using ads to make money online. I believe that marketing other peoples merchandise is a great way to create some extra income without having to worry about inventory, overhead, shipping, suppliers and the like. The biggest obstacle to overcome is creating traffic that views your site and thus buys the product you are marketing. I believe social networking sites, online communities and blogs can play a large part in getting the word out about your products.
